Join Rachel Keirns-Moore for Craft Party at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 8. She will show you how to make a Valentine Photo Explosion Box. You can bring your photos or add them to the box later. This will be a great Valentine for that special someone. Registration is required and begins Monday, Jan. 29. Sign up at the library or call 419-294-1345 to reserve a spot. Space is limited. The book for February is “The Pigeon Finds a Hot Dog!” written and illustrated by Mo Willems. “When Pigeon finds a delicious hot dog, he can hardly wait to shove the entire thing in his beak. But . . . then a very sly and hungry duckling enters the scene and wants a bite. Who will be the more clever bird?”

Join Youth Services Specialist Lisa Andres at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 5 in the library’s large meeting room. This month, kids will use 3D Doodler pens – and whatever their imagination can come up with – to make new creations from plastic filament. Miss Lisa has everything you need, including snacks, for a fun evening of innovation! STEAMpunks is intended for students in grades 6-12.

Immerse yourself in the beauty of nature at The Road Less Traveled, a nature photography exhibit. Russell Lyon will take you on a photographic journey through his love of and experiences in nature photography across the country. The program will take place at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 7 in Upper Sandusky Community Library’s large meeting room.

Everyone loves a good cup of joe, but how did that drink go from a bean to the warm mug in your hands? Brad Wood, the master roaster and owner of Brewed Balance Roasters, will be on hand to talk about how he got started in the coffee business, what goes into making a blend, and the importance of sustainability in the coffee industry. Cool Beans: Mastering the Art of Roasting will take place at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 21 in the library’s large meeting room.
