The Upper Sandusky Community Library will close early on Thursday, August 19 for a staff in-service workshop. The business hours for August 19 will be 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The library will return to its regular business hours on Friday, August 20.

Join library staff at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 30 for the Homeschool & Teacher Open House. Designed with teachers and homeschool parents in mind, this program will highlight the resources available at the library that you can use in your teachings. Spanning from Adventure Central items to the Quest Collection to online databases and more, staff will show you items to use that will help your children in their educational journey.

Drive-In Movie & Car Show

Ka-chow! Drive on in to the library for the return of S.T.E.A.M.Punks!

Kids, teens, and adults can make their own cardboard car at home and visit the library for the Drive-In Movie and Car Show on Monday, October 4 at 5:30 p.m. in the large meeting room. Need some extra supplies for your cardboard car? Check out the supplies Youth Services Specialist Lisa Andres has collected and take home what you need to deck out your car. Trophies and cash awards will be given to winners by age group categories. All participants will also receive a snack pack supplied by Boo Bear Auto.

Taste of the Town is a new adult cooking program hosted by the Upper Sandusky Community Library. In this monthly program, representatives from local restaurants will share their culinary passion and demonstrate how to make one of their most popular dishes.
