Do you believe in the existence of Bigfoot? Get ready to dive into the scientific research that goes into the search for Bigfoot at a special event on Monday, Jan. 8.

Amy Bue, an Ohio certified volunteer naturalist and cofounder of Project Zoobook, will give a presentation on Bigfoot and the work being done to make the subject of Bigfoot less taboo in scientific circles. A writer and educator from Northeast Ohio, Bue’s interest in Bigfoot began in 2012 when she saw something unexplainable. While her private field research is focused on the Allegheny National Forest in Pennsylvania, Bue travels across the country speaking on, researching, and looking for evidence of Bigfoot’s existence. The program will take place at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 8 in the library’s large meeting room.

This event, sponsored by STEAMpunks, is open to all ages.
