Common Readers will be reading “The Night Tiger” by Yangsze Choo in September. “The Night Tiger” is a “sweeping historical novel about a dancehall girl and an orphan boy whose fates entangle over an old Chinese superstition about men who turn into tigers.” The discussion will take place at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 19 in the library’s large meeting room. Copies of the book are available upon request at the library’s front desk. It is also available as an ebook and audiobook on Libby and as an audiobook on hoopla.
