Richard Cowdrey, The New York Times bestselling illustrator, artist, and author, will be visiting Upper Sandusky Community Library at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 12. Cowdrey, originally from Cincinnati, wrote “Fiona the Hippo,” a children’s book about the famous hippo at the Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Gardens. He also illustrated the Marley picture books as well as a series of religious picture books. Paragraphs Bookstore, an independent bookstore based in Mount Vernon, will have copies of Cowdrey’s available for purchase at the event. Cowdrey will also autograph books after his presentation. There will be a door prize drawing for his books during the event. This author visit is sponsored by the Title 1 Reading Program.
