It's time to get into the Halloween spirit!
Join us as we celebrate with a pumpkin carving program and the return of the S'mores Party and Pumpkin Glow.
It’s pumpkin carving time! Come to the Jack-o-Lantern Jubilee at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 29 and learn how to carve a pumpkin from Brian Hemminger. Make sure to stick around to carve your own pumpkins. Children ages 15 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Pumpkins and carving tools will be provided for you, but you’re welcome to bring your own tools. The carved pumpkins will be on display for the Pumpkin Glow later that week.
Registration is required and begins Tuesday, Oct. 15. Sign up online, stop by the front desk, or call 419-294-1345 to register.
Don’t put those jack-o-lanterns or Halloween costumes away just yet. Upper Sandusky Community Library is throwing a S’more Party & Pumpkin Glow at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 31 in the library’s backyard.
Bring a carved or painted pumpkin to the library Oct. 28-31 to have it displayed at the Pumpkin Glow. When you return on Halloween in your costume, tour the Pumpkin Glow, make s’mores, drink hot chocolate or cider, and play carnival games. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
For more information about this or any other Upper Sandusky Community Library program, stop by the front desk or call the library at 419-294-1345.
