Get your family outside to stretch their legs, read a book, and solve a puzzle with Coded StoryWalk®.
The book for November is Dino-Thanksgiving written by Lisa Wheeler and illustrated by Barry Gott. "Follow along as dinos travel over the river and through the woods to join together with family. They enjoy favorite activities, including a corn maze, a televised parade with giant balloon creations, and of course a football game! The dinos share in not one but two feasts--one for the carnivores and another for the veggie-saurs. Join in the fun as the dinos find much to be thankful for on this special holiday!"
Before you begin your walk, stop by the library’s front desk and pick up a Coded Tales worksheet. As you walk from business to business, each page will be marked with a letter that should be written on the worksheet. When you finish the story, you will have spelled out a special message that you can return to the library to receive a prize.
The Coded StoryWalk® begins at the Upper Sandusky Community Library and continues in the windows of the following businesses: A Cut Above, Corner Inn, SURGE, Neumeister’s Candy Shoppe, Fay Family Dental Care, A.J.’s Heavenly Pizza, Johnson Orthodontics, The Barber Shop, Community First Bank, First Citizens National Bank, Mustard Seed Market Place, Woven Yoga, Richardson Flower, and Upper Fire Systems.
