Bonnie read 1,000 books before Kindergarten!

Bonnie Korody-McClain, daughter of Taryn and Matt, has completed the 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten program at the Upper Sandusky Community Library.

Bonnie started the 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten program on July 27, 2022, and reached the goal on September 27, 2023. She comes to the library quite often with her mom and is a regular at StoryTime. Three-year-old Bonnie enjoys playing soccer, coming to the library, playing inside, and the color pink. Her favorite foods are carrots, chicken nuggets, and French fries with catsup.

Any child from birth until they enter kindergarten can participate. Each child will receive a log to record the books with incentives being given along the way. As you read to your children, they will form a link between books and what they love most – your voice and your closeness.
