What's Cookin' digs in the garden

Upper Sandusky Community Library’s popular What’s Cookin’ program hosted by Cheryl Lyon has returned in a new virtual format. This month she will be focusing on the produce you can find in your garden.

Due to the guidelines set forth by Gov. Mike DeWine around public gatherings, all live programs at the Upper Sandusky library have been cancelled for the foreseeable future. However, What’s Cookin’ has been moved into the virtual world. Cheryl Lyon will feature various recipes in monthly What’s Cookin’ videos, which will debut on the Upper Sandusky Community Library’s Facebook page and YouTube channel.

This month's video will premiere at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, August 24, 2020. Cheryl will demonstrate recipes using produce you can find in your garden – or even pick up at the grocery store!

The remaining 2020 What’s Cookin’ schedule is as follows: August 24 (produce from your garden); September 28 (Crock-Pot side dish, main dish, or dessert); October 26 (tailgate dish and pumpkin dish); November 16 (leftover turkey dishes); and December 14 (holiday potluck).
