The Common Reader book discussion group will be reading The Tattooist of Auschwitz by Heather Morris for its January meeting. The group will meet from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 21, 2020.
Common Readers meets at 6:30 p.m. on the third Tuesday of every month. Readers can join the group for one, several or all of the meetings. The 2020 schedule is as follows: The Pioneers by David McCullough for February 18; The Cider House Rules by John Irving for March 17; Where the Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens for April 21; Hillbilly Elegy by J.D. Vance for May 19; Flight of the Sparrow by Amy Belding Brown for June 16; Ship of Brides by JoJo Moyes for August 18; Maid: Hard Work, Low Pay, and a Mother’s Will to Survive by Stephanie Land for September 15; The Life We Bury by Allan Eskens for October 20; and A Piece of the World by Christina Baker Kline for November 17. There are no meetings in July or December. The title for each month will be available at the Upper Sandusky Community Library in a variety of formats.
